Department of Vascular Surgery of Strasbourg

The Department of Vascular Surgery, at the Hospital University Center in Strasbourg is directed by Professor Nabil Chakfé with a team of two full-time physicians, Doctor Jean-Georges Kretz and Dr. Fabien Thaveau. The current fellows are Anne Catherine Lejay and Carine Bajcz.

This team is heavily involved in the very important clinical activity in Strasbourg performing many cases of aortic surgery and peripheral whether conventional surgery, endovascular surgery (angioplasties and aortic prostheses) or laparoscopic or robotic surgery.

The involvement of this team is strong for years in the field of research. This partnership will develop clinical trials and direct research programs of basic scientists.
